There will be an abundance of activities for everyone to enjoy along the picturesque River Deben for this years Woodbridge Regatta. Take a boat trip, witness thrilling yacht and dinghy races, and cheer on teams of young people as they compete in the Raft Race, all vying for the prize of an inscribed paddle and the ultimate bragging rights among youth groups. While exploring the area, make sure to visit The Tide Mill, Woodbridge Museum, and The Longshed, all open for your enjoyment. Additionally, there are plenty of options available for dining and refreshing drinks. Families can head to the Bandstand, where they can participate in crafts, games, and other exciting activities. Don't forget to register for the crabbing competition, which will take place later in the afternoon. A new addition this year is the Model Yacht Regatta, adding an extra level of excitement on the Pond. Immerse yourself in the lively atmosphere with captivating live music at The Tea Hut, The Woodbridge Cruising Club, and Whisstocks Place. At Whisstocks Place, you can also engage in Steel Pan and Latin Drum workshops, celebrating Windrush 75 in anticipation of the upcoming event in June. Leading up to the Regatta, keep an eye out for the 'Spot the Duck' competition in shops located in and around The Thoroughfare. This year, the competition has a nursery rhyme theme, perfectly complementing the activities on Regatta Day.
